Pereskia Grandifolia Flowers
Pereskia Aculeata Fruits
This is a group of Pereskia aculeata fruits taken at the Jardin de Exotique in Monaco. These fruits usually take about nine months to develop, after flowering.
Pereskia Diaz-Romeroana
The Pereskia Diaz-Romeroana is not a well-known example of the species. It comes from Bolivia, and has slight trailing habit. It may grow erect for the first twenty inches, but eventually it trails to above three metres. Its leaves are oval, sometimes with pointed tips, and produces pink to crimson flowers about three centimetres wide.
It is grown from seed or cuttings. Some plant enthusiasts have even produced plants from its rather bulbous roots, which is quite unusal for this kind of cacti.
