The pereskia quisqueyana plant is a rare sight in Europe. Even in botanical gardens, they are rarely seen. In the UK where I live, I have never seen a single specimen growing, even in the most prestigous gardens. You are most likely to come across the P. grandifolia, the P. aculeata and the P.sacharosa. The origin of the plant is the Dominican Republic.
